The strange happenings connected to the Mothman started on 12^th of November, 1996 near Clendenin, West Virginia. There were five men in the cemetery on that day, they are preparing a grave to be buried when they noticed that something weird which appear like a color brown human being rose off in some trees and flew above their heads. They were baffled, they are talking that it does not look like a bird, but rather it appears like a man with wings. Several days after there were more mothman sightings takes place, thrilling the whole region.

The city of West Virginia is having fun to one of the most inexplicable creatures reported to be the most unusual “pseudo-cryptids” Mothman. The first mothman sightings in the place came in the early 60's when a lady was driving together with her father in Route 2, nearby Ohio River. As she comes close to the Chief Comstalk hunting Grounds, a huge man-shape appears onto the road. As the lady slowed her car, a man-shaped figure spread two huge wings and flew.
